Jim Bray
I have been a scuba diving instructor since 1994. I have instructor ratings with PADI and NAUI. Being a dive instructor enabled me to live and work in the Caribbean for 15 years. Island life for me began on the island of St. Thomas in the USVI. I took my instructor training with St. Thomas Diving Club and landed my first instructor job with Dive In, also in St Thomas.
Next came the island of St. Maarten, N.A. Over a period of 10 years I worked for 3 of the best dive centers on St. Maarten. My duties at these three dive shops where dive shop manager/instructor. During this time I had the pleasure of certifying over 800 diving students and conducting hundreds of Discover Scuba (resort courses).
From PADI I have received a letter of congratulations for certifying 100 or more students in 1994 and a Certificate of Recognition for Excellence.
I have taken my instrutor training to the level of Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
I own and manage my own web site about scuba diving.
